What to expect…

Unplug. Connect.

As a therapist with an eclectic approach, you can expect therapy to be individually catered to you and your specific needs. Some clients like short-term, solution focused counseling with targeted goals while others like a more non-direct, person-centered approach where they dig deeper and want to process experiences they’ve found significant. Together we will find your preference and go from there.

I am currently scheduling for both in-person and virtual therapy sessions.

Focus Areas:

  • Neurodivergent mothers (or those exploring their neurospicy ways aka Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or Autism Spectrum Disorder)

  • Anxiety

  • Life transitions (ie. First time mom; adding a second child; first child leaving home; career change; transitioning to staying home; transitioning back to work; moving; college; changes due to COVID-19)

  • Grief (not just from the loss of a loved one)

  • Stress; overwhelm

  • Parenting children w/ ADHD and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Motherhood (burn out; sensory overwhelm; mom rage; default parenting; villagelessness, the mental load)

  • Women issues

How Does It Work?

Step 1: Consultation

During your free 20 minute phone consultation, we’ll discuss the reasons you are seeking therapy and determine if working together is a good fit. During this visit, we’ll schedule your first session.

20 mins ($0) | contact me

Step 2: Paperwork

Prior to your first session, I will send two emails. One will be regarding the online portal where you will be asked to fill out an intake and sign some forms. The second e-mail will outline information to know before your first session. If you want to wait and complete the paperwork together at our first session, that works for me. Just FYI, this will increase the length of your session as well as the cost.

Step 3: Therapy

Therapy sessions vary depending on the individual needs and desired outcomes. Because I am private pay, I allow for different lengths for sessions. I look forward to walking along side you on your wellness journey.

30 mins ($90) | 60 mins ($150) | 90 mins ($210)

Frequently Asked Questions…

  • I am an out-of-network therapist and therefore all of my services are private pay. I do not take insurance but I do partner with Mentaya to help clients save money on therapy. Use the tool below to see if you qualify for out-of-network reimbursement for my services.

Please note that not all insurances offer out-of-network reimbursement but it’s worth a look. If you have any questions about this process I am happy to help.

  • To help make therapy more accessible, I participate in the Open Path Collective network, which allows for reduced rates based on income eligibility. Rates for these slots range from $40-$70 per session after a one time membership fee of $65. These slots are limited. Contact me to inquire about openings. Visit Open Path Collective to learn more about eligibility today.

  • Credit / Debit, Cash, Check, HSA/FSA due at time of service.

    Good Faith Estimate Notice:

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

  • While my practice is primarily for moms, I also serve women, children 14 years and older, as well as college aged students. I may be able to see younger children in the future, but at this time cannot accommodate them in my current office. If you think you (or your child) can benefit from my style of therapy, please call and schedule a free consultation today to see if we are a good fit!

  • I am currently booking initial consults within a week of first contact, and intakes within 2 weeks. Reach out now!

  • Online bookings via Google Calendar are coming soon. No special account will be needed, no new app to download. In the meantime, please feel free to call, text, or email to schedule an appointment.
